I had the pleasure of collaborating with Curry Boys BBQ, a renowned San Antonio restaurant twice nominated for the James Beard Best Chef Texas award. Our partnership centered around creating a line of nostalgic "bootleg" T-shirts that evoke a sense of community and tradition while celebrating their innovative BBQ offerings. The shirts generated immense excitement, selling out instantly and drawing a strong turnout at the launch event, demonstrating the restaurant's deep connection with its patrons and enhancing their presence in the local community.

Curry Boys Champs Tee
The first T-shirt in our collaboration with Curry Boys BBQ is inspired by the iconic early '90s Houston Rockets playoff T-shirts. It features a nostalgic design that resonates with fans, while the back showcases creatively reimagined logos of well established sponsors, celebrating our unique identity. The shirt sold out almost instantly, highlighting the strong connection between the restaurant and its loyal patrons in San Antonio.

Curry Up, Cowboy! Tee
On the same day, we released the second T-shirt, inspired by the iconic palm tree on the St. Mary’s Strip and "The Pink Palace." This design features a vibrant neon look that celebrates the palm tree and the lively atmosphere of the restaurant. With its bold colors including their motto "Curry Up, Cowboy!" The shirt quickly resonated with the community, further solidifying Curry Boys BBQ's connection to its roots and patrons.

The Curry Boys Tee
Our latest T-shirt design gives a nod to the three owners of Curry Boys BBQ by mimicking the iconic Pep Boys logo. Inspired by the "bootleg" aesthetic, we reimagined the characters to reflect the owners' unique personalities, celebrating their camaraderie and contributions. This playful design reinforces the strong connection between the owners and the community they serve, making it a fun addition to our collection.
